Workin the dirt

Today I planted 4 flats of annuals and 1 flat of perennials. I love feeling the dirt on my hands as I work it. They get so dried out thou. I don't like wearing gloves as I can't feel the dirt that way. The newest addition to the flower collection are geraniums. I've never tried any so thought I'd give it a go this year.

Starbucks goes to Church

Some people really enjoy a mug of drink every now and then. Some have to have theirs always at HAND. This is taking it a bit far but I got a chuckle out of it anyway. Starbucks is now going to church!

There yesterday, Here Today

The past few weeks have had me working out of town in Montana remodeling a couple of grocery stores. While I was away, we got the news abt one of our friends being in a fatal car accident. When I got back from my job, I paused long enough at home to pick up Walt and hi tail it out of SLC towards Arco to be with our friends for a few days. Kaziah (kuh zye' uh) was only 16 young years, but seriously had lived life to its fullest before her job here on Earth was done. We'll sure miss her. I'm thankful my employers are compassionate enough to let me have the time off to be there for Z'z family.

Ziah - a real Angel

This past week a dear dear friend join the many Angels of God. She was in a car accident near Arco, Idaho and did survive the crash. Ziah, we sure miss you but hope you and all of God's other Angels are watching over us all now with lots of love. I know you and Spencer (another of God's Arco Angels) are in peace and love together. I know he was your special gift from God and now you two are together again. It's only your physical body that isn't hear anymore. Your soul and spirit will live on with us forever. RIP, Z but rest assured you won't be forgotten. Love YOU!

Family Super Star

YEAH! My cousin, Tom, won the Miami Herald Super Star contest. The prize= An all-expenses paid trip for two to a Caribbean resort, courtesy of Spirit Air and Beaches Resorts.

Congratulations TOM & DONNA for all your hard work, worry, stress and love. Way to go Cuz!

Weekend doings

This past weekend we made strawberry jam, mowed the lawn, watched flowers grow, replaced a missing lens on the car (got lost in a car wash), read a book and took naps. LOVED relaxation.
