I am thankful for the friends I have made over the years.
This is Walt & Mel. Mel is Shouanna's husband. Together they own the Mountain Man Trading Post in Arco. It's a cute little country store that sells gifts, ice cream, pizzas and sandwiches. The have a few Native American items that between fresh local fruit and vegetables is what they started out selling. They have become great friends.
The Garner's, where we are staying, use a wood stove to heat their home. Here Walt is doing his part to fuel the fires to keep his skinny bod warm.
What a nice post! I think your friends look terrific! you all obviously know how to have a good time. It's colder in Arco then it is here, but I'm still thankfull for my crooked little block cottage and my not so new furnace!
ReplyDeleteKaren, It looks like you had a nice Thanksgiving. I love all your pictures. And your scenery pictures are really pretty.
