Does anyone have any Mexican friends who know how to mke Jamonsillo? It's a mexican candy made with real milk, brown sugar & nuts. I had a bar recently and would love to know how to make it.
It looks very beautiful. I don't know how to make it. And sometimes people may want to keep family recipes in their families. So they may not want to share. That is why I had to buy a good cookbook on making tamales. I want to make them, but I couldn't find anyone to teach me. It looks kind of like caramel.
I was snooping around on the web trying to find a recipe for this. I only found one, but it looks good. And it is on a website that has a lot of really yummy looking recipes. It is a site that someone had put together to keep their family recipes all in one spot. That is a great idea. I wouldn't mind doing a site like that for my family one day.

Did youever get a recipe for this? It looks very similar to Leche Quemada. I make it all the time. I found a microwave recipe and prefer that one over the regular.
